• Please come to your appointment alone. Our shop is intimate. Space is at a premium. 
  If you must bring a guest, let us know in advance. 
• Because of the above, children are not allowed unless they are receiving services or are approved in advance. 
• Please bring pictures of the style that you want to your consultation.
  
• Please remove hair styles before coming to your appointment. 

Arrival:
Your appointments are very important to Rare Rootz! We hold your appointments just for you. We also strive to be prompt in servicing all of our clients on time. Due to the nature of some selected styles and additional services, your appointment may require additional time.  Please allow a minimum of 2-4 hours for your appointment.
 

Late Arrivals:
If you are running late, we give a 15 minute grace period with no call. Anytime after, it  is up to the stylist's discretion. Be advised, if you are more than 15 minutes late, you might forfeit your appointment.To ensure the promptness of all reservations, we reserve the right to reschedule any reservation that is 15 minutes late or later to another convenient time.
 

 Rare Rootz Natural Hair Studio now require a booking deposits for each calendar appointment that is booked. This deposit will be 35% of the reserved total amount of your service. All deposits are non-refundable 

 Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations or reservations cancelled at least one day(24) hours in advance allows us to accommodate other guests and will be greatly appreciated.

• Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
• "NO SHOWS" will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.  
•  Even if you have placed a deposit if you are a no show you will be charged 100% of  cost your appointment (minus your deposit)
  
• All deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable

 If for any reason, WE have to cancel a same day reservation, there will be a $15 off gift certificate waiting for you at your next appointment that may be used for any hair services at Rare Rootz Natural Hair Studio. 

 We strongly advises clients to purchase the highest quality hair.  This is an investment and the purchase of high quality hair often determines the final look of your selected style.  We WILL NOT assume responsibility for the performance of hair that is not recommended by our salon 

 We gladly accept cash/ credit cards- Visa/Mastercard/American Express/ Cash App/Google Pay/and PayPal. 

 If you are dissatisfied with any of our services, please call and give us the opportunity to work it out with you. It may be something simple that can be remedied by the same stylist or you may find a better fit with another stylist. Either way, we want you to feel comfortable communicating with us. Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services provided. However we will work tirelessly to ensure your satisfaction.
