My name is Amber Carson.  I am currently in my 12th year as a Licensed Professional  Cosmetologist, and 3rd year board Certified Trichologist. I am also thee Founder & Visionary behind the brand and company,  Rare Rootz Natural Hair Studio & Rare Rootz Hair Care Products. A true native of South Florida, born and raised to be exact! Florida girl at heart! lol I attended Florida Career College School Of Cosmetology and received my professional license in 2010. Collectively I have over 15 years of professional experience with cultivating  locs and natural hair of all textures and wave patterns. I've built my reputation as a respected licensed natural hair care artist, and educator under the trademark of Rare Rootz. And this is to my due  deep passion and love for creating trendy  looks. That's whether  it's on loose natural hair or locs. I will slay any hair texture if given the space opportunity! Im that type of Artist! lol! Most of all I love educating black women and women in general on how to maintain and keep the health of our hair a priority threw out   out the years as we age. I strive to continue to be a pillar in my community, and as a entrepreneur this is  what drives me to continue to grow in the Beauty Industry. So back to  Rare Rootz Natural Hair Studio chile! lol! We are a premier natural hair salon located in Oakland Park, Florida. From natural hair care, twists, braids, extensions Loc Maintenance and Loc Artistry.  We also specialize In  Hair Loss Restoration therapy, for those who suffer from hair loss and scalp disorders. Im proud to say that I'm one of the top and most requested natural hair pros in South Florida. During my career, I've made appearances teaching at trade shows and platforming my artistry in Expos throughout South Florida and abroad. My work has also been published in Sophisticated Black Hair Care Magazine through out my career. And Im proud of myself because I know this is just the tip of the Iceberg!
